Today I will tell you about my very cute and adorable cat. Now the cat I adopted from my friend has grown quite big. he is very active, likes running here and there and scattering things that have been neatly arranged.

Every morning after I wake up my cat also wakes up, previously my cat's name was Subak. after waking up I was playing on my cell phone and Subak was also watching in my head, after he woke up he was very spoiled and wanted to be stroked. Usually when I live at the Subak campus I always prepare a lot of food, because if later he is hungry and I'm not at home he can still eat in peace. Every time I come home from campus, I always check the toilet to see whether Subak has defecated or not, because Subak is a smart cat who pees or poops, always in the toilet even though he doesn't go straight to the toilet, but I think he is very smart. Today's Story

Today is the peak of the PAB event or activity. Early in the morning, we woke up and performed the Fajr prayer together at Darossalam Mosque. After finishing the prayer, we were instructed to return to our campsite, take a shower, and have breakfast before proceeding to the next activity.

We returned to the campsite wearing field attire or sportswear to participate in the morning exercise. By 8 a.m., the sun was shining brightly, and we began the next activity, which was hiking or exploration. Before starting the hike, we were asked questions at each station to ensure we were ready.

Some groups had already departed, and we remained in the field to answer questions from the organizers before embarking on the hiking mission. After a short while, we answered the questions correctly, and we set off to complete missions at each station.

At the first station, we started with documentation, taking photos and presenting a cheer. After that, we were asked questions and discussed the answers together. Once finished, we proceeded to the second station, where we were tested on marching in formation. Our leader picked a random slip of paper with instructions for the marching order that our group would demonstrate.

Once done with the marching, we moved on to the third station, where we had two tasks: answering questions from the organizers using Morse code and box code. Following that, our next task was to create a stretcher.

After completing the stretcher, we headed to the final station, Station 4. Here, we were sprayed with water and instructed to lift each other to navigate through prepared obstacles, followed by crawling.

Afterwards, we were allowed to return for a shower, perform the Dhuhr prayer, and then gather for the closing ceremony and prize distribution. Due to heavy rain in the afternoon, our activities were delayed. Around 2 p.m., when the rain subsided, we started the inauguration ceremony and concluded the event.

We were lined up by group for the traditional post-inauguration celebration, where we were smeared with tamarind paste and had coffee and baby powder applied to our faces. This marked our official induction as scout members.

After the ceremony, the prize distribution took place, and our group received three awards. Following this, we participated in a clean-up activity, taking down tents and cleaning the areas we had used during the event.

Once the cleanup was complete, we took group photos with fellow students from the English Language Education and Kansei Engineering departments. We also recorded a video with senior students who organized the event.

Today's Story

At 6 am we were asked by the committee to check in again to enter the campsite and start the PAB activities. Me and my friends from my group started to bring the necessary items for camping and the activities that will start later. We brought blankets to avoid mosquito bites when we slept, we brought eating utensils and also cooking utensils.

After finishing tidying up all the items in the tent, I decided to walk around to my friend’s tent to take pictures and make videos. After the clock showed 9 am, we were invited to follow the committee’s directions to enter the campus hall. We were given material that would be asked during the next activity. When it was 11 am and the call to prayer sounded, we were allowed to go home for zuhur prayer and lunch, but the next agenda was a carnival so we didn’t go back and we prepared it in the tent and we ate together in the tent.

After finishing preparing the models wearing the carnival costumes that we made a few nights ago, they were now displayed. We were directed to the hall field to line up in a long line according to the group. Before starting the event, we drew a lottery number first, and we got number 10. The event began and we started walking to the jury posts while singing the cheers that we had made.

After finishing at post one, we went to the next post by showing the cheers with movements and a little marching test. Next, we were invited to enter the corridor of the round building on our campus. This time the models will style to show the style of clothing that has been made and will be explained by the presenter in front of the jury later. The other participants sat sweetly watching the models with cheers and enthusiasm that were very lively.

Not long after, the asar call to prayer sounded and the participants who took part in the cooking competition were ordered to return to the tent to prepare their dishes. After the carnival event was over, we returned to our respective tents and were ready to go home for asar prayer and shower.

After finishing showering and praying, we returned to the tent and would do the next event, which was a bonfire ceremony. We formed a large circle and in the middle there was an officer reading the points of the scout’s dasa darma. After the bonfire ceremony was over, the next event began, which was pensi or art performance. The art performance tonight was very lively and lasted until 10 pm. After that, we were allowed to sleep in the tent and would be woken up tomorrow morning to perform the subuh prayer.

Today's Story

This story will continue from yesterday, which is the preparation for camping. Because today each of us from my group has a class, we decided to continue making the carnival costumes after the opening ceremony.

After the class was over, I went straight to my cousin’s house who lives here. I borrowed a tarp for us to sleep on later in the tent. In the afternoon, we all participants of PAB were asked to check in first and then start building the tent for us to stay overnight. After checking in, we started to build our tent, starting from carrying the necessary items to build it, such as wood and rope.

Because not all of us have experience in setting up tents, we were helped by the committee to build the tent, even though it was only a little, it was very helpful. Of all the tents of the participants, we were the last to go home and the last to finish setting up the tent, because we only got a little help while the others got a lot of help or even were set up directly by the committee.

We were then allowed to go home, take a shower and get ready for the opening ceremony tonight. At 5 pm we had to be in the campus hall. I was already in front of the campus hall and I gathered in a group of my classmates and took the opportunity to take pictures for memories together.

The mosque began to play the recitation of the holy Quran and we were invited to enter and prepare for the maghrib prayer together. With the committee leading us, we performed the maghrib and isha prayers together. In between waiting for the isha prayer, we did sholawatan or read burdah.

After finishing the religious activities, the opening ceremony began. Starting from the introduction of the MC and the speakers who have authority in the campus scouts, such as the mentor or something like that.

After the opening ceremony was over, we continued to finish the carnival costumes that we would show tomorrow. Until around 11 pm we finished and returned to our respective homes or boarding houses.

Today's Story

Today, our group had a face-to-face meeting, as I mentioned in yesterday's story. As agreed, we decided to gather after the Zuhr prayer at the gazebo in the MIPA building of IAIN Palangkaraya.

After the Zuhr prayer, I prepared to meet according to the agreed-upon schedule. While waiting for other friends, I played with my phone. Despite having some members from my own major in the group, I still felt awkward as we had just met, and we didn't know each other well due to our different majors.

After a while, friends from the same major as mine arrived. We chatted while waiting for other group members. As it was already noon, at twelve o'clock, we finally began our meeting.

The leader assigned tasks and sought suggestions from the members. We divided tasks for bringing necessary items and also discussed the food supplies for the upcoming camping event. In addition to assigning tasks for bringing items, we also collected funds from each member in the group, amounting to 25 thousand Indonesian Rupiah. Once all tasks were assigned, we decided to conclude the meeting and set a new appointment to create carnival costumes for the PAB event.

In the evening, after the Isha prayer, we gathered again with all members at one of our group members' homes. First, we reintroduced ourselves in person to become more acquainted. After that, some of my friends went out to buy materials for the carnival costumes. Those of us who stayed at the house worked on other tasks to avoid accumulating work and ensure a speedy completion.

After some time, those who went out to find materials returned, and we started working more seriously. We began measuring the carnival costume models and crafting unique costume tails. Time flew, and it was already 11 PM. We decided to continue the next day as we were feeling tired and sleepy, but the costumes were halfway done.

Today's Story

This time, I will share my preparations before undertaking the mandatory activity for my third-semester course, PAB. Two days before the event, we received a document containing our names, and we were divided into several groups. I was placed in a group called "Pencoba Satu Putri." This activity is not only for our major but is organized across different study programs, so many people will participate.

Since various majors are involved, we are grouped with individuals from different disciplines. However, there are a few of us from the same major, like me; there are three people from my major in this group. As the group assignments were already announced, we created a chat group to introduce ourselves and get to know each other before the activity.

After all the members joined the group, we introduced ourselves online and exchanged greetings. We shared contact numbers to stay connected. The introduction session passed, and we were instructed to gather at the campus scout hall today. Only a few people were asked to gather in one scout hall. Since I couldn't represent our group, one of my friends would represent us.

During today's meeting, the organizers conveyed a lot of information about the upcoming activities. They explained everything that needed to be done in the next few days. After receiving all the information, we decided to choose a group leader first to plan the upcoming group tasks.

After the selection of the group leader, we conducted a Zoom meeting to plan the items to bring and discuss solutions for finding the required items. We have already assigned tasks, but the preparations are still at an early stage. As it's already midnight, we decided to continue the discussion tomorrow with a face-to-face meeting.

Today's story

  Today, I want to share my activities. As usual, I woke up early and took a shower. After that, I had a morning class at seven, but it was a short class because the lecturer had other commitments. Since there was still some time before the next class, I and some classmates decided to play Mobile Legends together. Time flew, and the second class was approaching.

Feeling guilty for using my break time to play with my friends, we decided to buy some drinks and snacks before heading to the second class. After purchasing our snacks, we went to the second class, found seats at the back as usual, and left our bags on the desks. Then, we went outside again, sat in the front row, ate our food, and chatted.

As the time for the class had already passed by ten minutes and the lecturer hadn't arrived, we were informed earlier that the class might be canceled. The lecturer, who had a prior commitment and couldn't leave, informed us that we were excused for the day.

Since there was still another class later, my friends and I decided to visit my friend's dorm. We arrived, played together, and enjoyed some drinks provided by my friend. A few hours passed, and the next class was about to begin. However, the weather turned cloudy, indicating heavy rain. Due to the downpour, our last class for the day was shifted to an online format.

After the third class ended, and the rain stopped, feeling hungry as we only had drinks earlier, we decided to have chicken noodle soup at a place called Malioboro. We chose to dine in, enjoying our meal and conversations. Once satisfied and the food was finished, we each went back to our homes.

TODAY'S STORY

I started my journey back to Palangka Raya. Last Friday, I told you that I was going back home for a few days because I missed my parents.

In the morning, my dad asked me what time I would leave, and I said 11 in the morning. After that, I asked my friend who was going back with me. He said 11 as we initially planned, but by 1:30, we still hadn't left. Waiting was really exhausting, in my opinion. I want to share my journey, but more than that, I want to vent about how frustrated and anxious I felt because of the uncertain wait.

Today will be a memory that I'll probably remember for years to come, as a lesson for the future. Maybe this will be the last time I travel with him because this situation is really annoying, and I always dislike it.

A lot of time was wasted, and I couldn't do many things because I was worried my friend would show up to pick me up. When my friend is the one picking me up, I can't do much except wait.

Todays story

On Friday, I planned to return to my hometown because I missed my parents and my mother's cooking. So, my roommate and I started our journey in the morning. Since I had only one class on Friday and the next day was a day off, it was convenient for me to go home.

However, halfway through our journey, it started raining heavily. We decided to take shelter and stopped at a nearby Alfamart until the rain subsided. After a while, the rain stopped, but the sky remained cloudy. Despite the weather, we decided to continue our journey home.

After a short while, we were caught in another downpour, forcing us to stop again for shelter. Once the second rain stopped, we resumed our journey.

The weather cleared up, and there were no signs of rain. During the trip, my friend and I didn't talk much because I believed that staying focused on driving was crucial. The road we traveled was in poor condition, with numerous potholes, both small and large. In some parts, road repairs were underway, causing us to experience brief traffic jams and dusty conditions due to the dry soil.

After half of the journey, we decided to stop briefly due to a natural call. We pulled over at an Alfamart. While my friend went to the restroom, I bought a drink because I felt parched, much like the road we traversed. Once we finished our business at the store, we continued our journey.

After another half an hour, we stopped at a fruit garden in the Pelantaran area. My friend wanted to buy fruits from the garden to take home. After choosing the fruits, we continued our journey.

An hour and a half later, it was already noon, and we were almost there. An hour later, we arrived in our village, and my friend dropped me off at my house since our houses were in the same direction, making it convenient and saving time for both of us.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed by my mother at the door. After entering the house, my mother offered me food because I had previously requested her to prepare my favorite dish before I returned. However, I was too exhausted, so I decided to sleep first and have my meal later. That's the story of my journey back home.

my experience of caring for a cat named Subak

 I want to share my experience of caring for a cat named Subak. Subak is a very talkative and active cat, making my days at home always filled with joy.

Subak is a very agile and curious cat. He always wants to know what's happening around him and never runs out of energy to explore the house. When I first brought him home, he immediately felt comfortable and started exploring every corner of the house with enthusiasm.

Subak is also a chatty cat. He likes to communicate with various melodious sounds, letting me know when he's hungry, wants to play, or simply craves attention. Sometimes, his chatty meows make me smile because he always has a unique way of communicating.

Despite being talkative, Subak is also very affectionate. He loves to come close and seek attention in cute ways. When I'm on the bed, he jumps onto my lap and cuddles with me lovingly. Our bond grows stronger every day, and I feel incredibly lucky to have a cat as talkative and affectionate as Subak.

Moreover, Subak is incredibly active. He enjoys playing with his cat toys, especially rubber balls and yarn rolls. Sometimes, he can play with his toys for hours, showcasing his high energy levels. I love seeing him happy while he's engrossed in play, and it also gives me a chance to have fun with him.

In the end, even though Subak can be very talkative and active, I wouldn't trade him for anything else. His energy brings life to my home, and his chatty meows make me feel like I have a loyal conversation partner. Subak is a delightful and enjoyable member of my family, and I'm grateful to have him in my home.

Abu Nawas

 Abu Nawas, whose real name was Abu al-Hasan al-Muthanna, was a famous poet and philosopher from the 8th century, hailing from Khorasan, a region now located in Iran and Afghanistan. He lived during the reign of Caliph Harun al-Rashid of the Abbasid Caliphate. Abu Nawas was known for his intelligence, wisdom, and proficiency in poetry and humor.

One of Abu Nawas's notable traits was his inclination to live freely, enjoying wine and entertaining himself with friends in taverns. Despite his libertine lifestyle, he was renowned for his sharp intellect and his poems, which were filled with wisdom.

One famous story about Abu Nawas involves a challenge where he was asked to compose a poem praising the caliph but also containing a subtle criticism. In a gathering at Harun al-Rashid's palace, Abu Nawas presented his poem cleverly:

"In heaven, there are beautiful maidens,

In this world, we have the wise and noble Harun al-Rashid.

However, sadly, the maidens in heaven never tasted wine,

While in this world, Harun al-Rashid always savors the delight of wine."

This poem subtly praised the caliph's wisdom while sneaking in a critique of his love for wine. The caliph and the attendees in the gathering laughed and appreciated Abu Nawas's cleverness.

Although Abu Nawas was often known for his humor and wit, he also created profound poems about life, love, and philosophy. Despite his controversial lifestyle, he was respected for his literary talent and the depth of his wisdom in conveying life lessons.
