 "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World" (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) is an anime adapted from the light novel written by Tappei Nagatsuki. 

Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary young man, suddenly finds himself transported to a different fantasy world after leaving a convenience store. Without a clear explanation, Subaru discovers himself in a new town and quickly realizes that he has gained a special power: the ability to return to life every time he dies. However, this power comes with consequences.

While investigating the mysteries around him, Subaru meets a beautiful girl named Emilia. He becomes enchanted by Emilia and vows to protect her, but shortly thereafter, both of them are killed by a mysterious assailant. This is when Subaru learns that his ability to come back to life only brings him back to a specific point each time he dies, while the memories of everyone around him remain intact.

Subaru becomes trapped in an endless cycle of death and rebirth, attempting to find ways to overcome challenges and protect the people he cares about. Along his journey, Subaru encounters various characters, including Rem and Ram, twin maid sisters who are half-human and half-beast.
